In one corner, there is what appears to be a child's tea party. Well, there is a table with toy tea cups and plates, but the game appears to have gone in different directions.

"And this one is from a zillion years ago." Coral is informing Guppy.

"Uh huh, well that's pretty cool." Guppy says. "Do you want me to drink tea out of it?" he adds.

"No!" Coral takes it back. "We have to bury it."

"Okay. Why?"

"So it gets dug up."

Guppy pauses for a moment, then accepts that one.

"You can have this one Daddy." Coral adds, giving him the next cup.

"Thanks sweetie."

Come join them! (Just watch the relics).

"Greetings, Guppy," Teja says, turning up in that corner with his axe at rest. "May I speak with you on matters of business, briefly?"

"Certainly." Guppy says. "Is it business that is able to pass safely past the ears of a three year old or shall I take her home?"

"I would merely ask if the blood-drinker has been to apologise yet," Teja says.

"No." Guppy says. "But Javert has."

Coral glomps Teja's legs for a cuddle.

Teja hesitates but shortly, then offers his arms to pick her up.

"Javert," he says. "What did he say?"

Coral jumps into his arms.

"He was apologetic. I tried to bond." Guppy says.

"Teja, do you have old pots?" Coral asks.

"Did he try to pay you for the door?" Teja asks.

"Yes, and I repair them at the forge," he replies to Coral. "So they are as good as new."

"Yes, I told him not to worry about it too much." Guppy says. "In emotional terms anyway."

Coral plays with his hair. "Are they a zillion years old?"

"No, they are but used and worn to breaking point," Teja says to Coral. "As is Javert, indeed," he adds, turning his eyes to Guppy. "He should not worry about paying in material terms, either. I agreed with the blood-drinker that I shall allow Javert to pay but in four increments, so he shall ever have enough money to feed himself well. I must find him again, and remind him to keep his end of our bargain."

Guppy nods.

"Tell the blood drinker I want to discuss the term 'discharge summary' with him.

And by that I don't mean blood loss."

"Shall I tell him that for each time that he did not come to apologise, you will discuss another technical term with him when you do see him?" Teja says, amused.

"No, tell him I will start to send him infirmary leaflets at random, starting at #1: dealing with constipation."

"Not a thing a vampire must usually deal with, I suppose," Teja says. "What is a discharge summary?"

"What a doctor agrees the patient plan is when they leave."

"And you agreed to nothing when Tepesh simply took Javert from your care," Teja says, "even as Javert truly wished to leave, at that point."

"Not quite." Guppy says.

"If I see an old lady who has fallen and broken her hip, I say 'We can see you in clinic in six weeks to see how you are doing.'. She doesn't have to come, some won't, but it is an offer of future care. We may need to do more tests or more treatment. For example, my old people who have broken bones often need a bone scan."

"But Javert is neither old nor feeble," Teja says. "What would you have told him, had Tepesh not interfered?"

"At very least I would need to moniter his nutrition."

"Has he been starving himself?" Teja asks. "I did not have a chance to ask Tepesh about what he fed Javert, alas."

He only knew that Tepesh had fed from Javert. Taking out, but who could tell if he had even thought of putting anything back in...

"I can't discuss Javert's medical condition but you can tell how skinny he is."

"It is almost painful how much one cannot help him," Teja says. "Tepesh may have meant to help, but helping Javert is much like trying to nail jellyfish to a tree."

"Ew." Guppy says, thinking about that. "We can only do what we can."

"I shall try that," Teja says. "Doing what I can for Javert, not nailing creatures to trees. And I shall tell Tepesh to come and apologize, threatening him with unwanted medical brochures if not."

"Tepesh? Is that the man's name?"

"That is the name he gave," Teja says. "Security has a longer name on record, but I think we should call people what they tell us. We call Alfred Spangler that as well, don't we?"

"Alfred Spangler is a vampire?!"

"Oh no!" Teja says. He is actually laughing. "He is very scared of them, as far as I know. No, I am rather sure that his name is not Alfred Spangler, but I don't see a reason why anyone needs to find out what it is. Much like Tepesh. You will find neither on the tab board."

"Ah." Guppy nods. "Don't know him well enough to comment. Maybe he just doesn't like his real name. Probably 'Sponge' or something."

"Likely, knowing how bizarre his world can get," Teja says. "As for the blood-drinker, Tepesh is one of his names, but he has a number of those. Vampires' names are often very long. One would assume that it is enough you call him Mister Tepesh when he comes to apologise, and listen to you speak of discharge procedures."

Guppy nods.

"Fair enough."

Coral takes a Peppa Pig hair clip out of her hair and puts it in Teja's.

Teja rolls his eyes strangely, but says nothing.
