Oswin has been busy. She doesn't have time to sit around worrying about people (that just seem a little too angry).

Doesn't.

Anyway, somehow, in all of that business, she's ended up with a finished product.

And it's amazingly adorable. Nice fluffy cupcakes, covered in spiky buttercream frosting, with tiny fondant ears, and fondant eyes, and heart-shaped fondant noses...

Yep.

Oswin made kitten cupcakes.

She's debating if they're actually too cute to eat.

"Ah, there's my favorite girl," Tahno drawls, sashaying up to her. "What'd you make?"

Oswin grins at him, holding up a cupcake for his inspection.

Tiny fondant eyes peer up at him.

"Monsters. Tiny little monsters. How are you supposed to eat that?"

[hot_water]

Tahno blinks. And blinks again. "What?" he drawls, looking flummoxed. "Why'd you make somethin' so cute? Ya can't eat that."

"I didn't mean to make them this cute! I started with the frosting, and then they kinda looked like critters so they needed eyes, and once they had eyes they needed little noses.... and the rest just sort of followed." Oswin protests, putting the cupcake back with its fellows.

[hot_water]

Tahno takes her hands, rubbing them between his own. "Well, ya made 'em adorable. I don't know how you did it, but they're too cute ta eat. Whaddya gotta say for yerself?" he teases, kissing her chin. "Well, maybe I can see myself eatin' one."

[souffle_girlek]

"Clearly I'm a horrible, horrible person." Oswin agrees, obviously an unrepentant, hardened criminal. "You'll just have to mete out appropriate punishment. It's your civic duty."

[hot_water]

"Oh?" Tahno drawls, eyebrows raised. "What kinda punishment? Tickling? Or perhaps tyin' ya up for a spell?"

[souffle_girlek]

"Look." She gazes upon the evidence, all twelve frosted darlings. "Their little noses are heart shaped."

Atrocious.

[hot_water]

Tahno nips her ear, wrapping her up in his arms and tugging her close. "Yer shameless," he purrs, running his hands down her sides. "I think I kinda like that."

Oswin laughs, linking her hands behind his neck.

"Only kinda? Maybe I should give you more of a taste, see if it's something you can gain an appreciation for."

[hot_water]

"Well, see, there's a small problem with that," Tahno rumbles, kissing along her jawline. "Yer cuter than the cupcakes, so I dunno if I wanna eat you up."

[souffle_girlek]

"Oh, you could just have a taste... or two." Oswin suggests archly. "There is leftover frosting, you know."

[hot_water]

"Now that's givin' me just the kinda idea ya want me ta have," Tahno purrs, drawing back to smirk at her. "Yer place or mine?"

Oswin grins back, unrepentant still.

"Yours, if we bring the frosting we'll need that bathtub of yours after."

[hot_water]

"Sounds good," Tahno drawls, and leads her up to his room.
