Luidaeg Spooky times part 02
[OOC: Milli-timed to evening time.]
The fogs and winds are still making things chilly and spooky outside. Leaves rustle and swarm about, trees creak, and branches snag in hair and clothing. As what passes for a sun dips below the mountains, the plaintive neighing a horse echoes through the twilight. Those curious or brave enough may follow the sound to the lake, where they will find a beautiful black horse seemingly caught in the mud a length or so from the shore.
It certainly could use some help. Are you a kind soul? Do you help?
[OOC: And week two of the Luidaeg's fun begins. Since I got this up later in the week, I'll leave it open until Saturday. For more info as to what the Luidaeg is up to, read here.]

He reaches up for her mane and hauls himself up, but not all the way onto her back. Its best to not get her balance off worse.

[OOC: Let me know if that is too much assuming on my part for William and I'll edit.]

While he doesn't fall off, William scrambles to get atop and then curses as they cross the water. This isn't natural and probably is going to end up dangerous.

He will find his seat is quite secure. Too secure perhaps.
The mare zips about, bucking once in a while, and soon enough they are nearing the island with the odd temple. If William survives this, he will have some great memories and stories to tell.

He asks as he tries to change the horse's direction.

Eventually, perhaps just as William has given up hope, they are at the shore, charging it. Well, charging a large boulder at the shoreline. The mare doesn't seem to be showing any signs of slowing.

William pulls on the horses' mane, anything he can to try and get some kind of turn.

Neighing laughter can be heard as the slashing of her hooves fades off into the distance.

He curses as he stands up, feeling out his bruises but nothing seems broken as he heads inside.
