Outside, Afternoon -- Part II.

Galen Erso hasn't been released from the infirmary yet -- apparently, bacta hasn't been invented here -- but he has graduated to a smaller apparatus for his painkillers and readings, one he can wear in the pocket of his bathrobe.

Which is why he is wearing a bathrobe as he's sitting at a table on the lawn, in the sun, drinking something from a tall glass that is cold, and bright blue.

On his lap, there's a cat.

Wil jogs up from a run around the grounds when he see Galen. The Half Elf stares. Wasn't he just over.... What? He's got to stop before he actually hits something with his face.

"Wait, you can't be the same guy at the beach." he says confused.

[galen_erso]

"No, I'm not," Galen says. "I haven't even been to the beach yet. But I think there's somebody here who looks a lot like me."

Wil shakes his head, "This place is too weird sometimes."

"I heard that as well," Galen says, voice dry as the Jedhean desert.

Wil nods, "And some of the technologies here are so far ahead of my world. It's amazing.... until you watch a green guy shoot lightening out of a device and stun another guy."

[galen_erso]

"A blaster?" Galen says. "That's quite normal where I am from."

So are green guys.

"It isn't where I'm from," says Wil, "We don't even have those gloves they use in the infirmary."

Wil smiles, "Oh, uh, I'm Wil Ohmsford."

"Galen." Sinric smiles, stopping to say hello on his way to where Hannibal is cooking. Given the difference in their threads, he's not likely to confuse them, now he knows them. "I would how you're settling in but it seems like you've had a rather rough time of it?"

"Yes, I was steamrolled by an angry bantha," Galen says ruefully, "or rather, by a man from my world who acted like one."

"I'm sorry to hear that." He gives Galen an apologetic look. "And I'm sorry if my advice to seek out people from your own world led to this."

"I didn't seek them out, they jumped me on their own," Galen says. "Nothing to be sorry for. One big hairy Guardian, and another blind and handsome one. I did see their point in hating my Imperial uniform."

"Ah. Yes." Sinric nods, "I know them. I fell foul of them myself, when they first arrived. Fortunately our encounter did not become physical." Sinric's delicate frame doesn't carry him like a warrior at all.

"You are not an Imperial," Galen says. "Whatever would they object to?"

An ex-soldier has been out and about today, distracted by the fact that someone weeded his strawberries for him. He's so distracted, in fact, that he doesn't really notice the familiar-looking man with the cat until the boy is almost upon him.

"Dr. Lecter," the boy says as he approaches, tilting his chin and offering him a glare. "How are you injured?"

"Not Dr. Lecter," Galen says. "Some young man with pointy ears said he was on the beach, I think, and then believed he was seeing double when he saw me. So I suppose you'll find him there."

Pause.

"I'm Galen Erso."

"Galen Erso?" the boy says, tilting his head. "Oh, that cargo pilot's lover?"

[galen_erso]

"You know Bodhi?" Galen says, and the smile on his face as he says the name is bright and blinding and unlike anything Author will ever see on Hannibal Lecter's face. "And yes, I am, and so happy to be known as just that."

[herr_bookman]

"I've only met him the once," Autor says, crossing his skinny arms across his chest. "When he thought Hannibal Lecter was you due to a personality-switching flu."

He furrows his brows. "What would you be known by otherwise?"

[galen_erso]

"He thought what?? What flu??" Galen asks, shocked.

What had this cruel place do e to Bodhi??? No wonder he tried to escape the only way he could think of.

When Bodhi does arrive, he's armed with a basket full of food and a kitten riding on his shoulder. "I'm sorry. It longer than I thought." He smiles distractedly. "Has Myrrh been keeping you company?"

"She has," Galen says. "And some people who wondered if In was Hannibal Lecter."

The colour drains from Bodhi's face and he ducks his head, not able to meet Galen's eyes. "You look very much alike."

[galen_erso]

"Yes, we do," Galen says. "That must have been horrible for you. Especially if likes cooking as well and is always in the kitchens, as one of them told me."

[imthepilot]

"It's not his fault. And he's been nothing but kind to me. He tried- he made sure to point out the differences. So I wouldn't-" His voice catches, having to stop. Instead he focuses on unpacking the food.

And Kyber, who bounces out of the basket and attacks Myrrh. Who swats him.

"You wouldn't jump every time you saw hi!, but you did?" Galen says, reaching out for the kitten but looking at Bodhi's face.
