Last night could have been loosely deemed mental preparation for the rescue. There will be some physical preparation today, but first Goldy needs some coffee and porridge to recover from all that mental preparation.
Looking a little less than alert in black cargo pants and a matching tank top, she sits herself down at the bar and musses a hand through tangles of damp treacled hair.
Monday evening can't come soon enough.
