Gorlim scrambles down to the bar sometime significantly after a certain recently posted OOM, and sets a letter on the bar for delivery.
To Bernard--
Dear Bernard,
In a short time, a Vala/God from my world will allow my wife and child and I to return to my home for a single day. With your permission, we wish to be allowed a small amount of land where we may cultivate plant samples we collect there, until such time as my living daughter is old enough to take them to a world outside the bar.
I realize this is an unusual request, but we will be as unintrusive about it as possible. We do not need much land -- only a small garden plot, preferably close to or in the forest, so a tree or two might grow there. None of our seedlings are at all harmful, but they will be from our home.
