Half an hour ago, Mina would have been surprised at her attentiveness toward Serena, until told it included drinking blood. Warm blood has always had this effect on her. Her Vampire nature has always had this dichotomy: Monsterous and sensual. She's fought the sensual half of it for so long - first because it wasn't Proper for a Victorian woman to feel that way, then because (a little, anyway) Joe feared the Vampire in her. For the longest time, however, it was because there was no one she could entrust with her secret nature.
