Sometimes, exits are big to-dos. There are goodbyes and hugs and occasionally tears.
This isn't one of those.
Instead, it's just Sawyer and Claire walking in and leaving their room keys on the bar. The lease for their new apartment has been signed, the deposit and first month's rent has been paid, and their few belongings have been moved over. They don't need the rooms in the bar anymore.
That's all there is to it. Smiling to each other, they turn and walk back out. Those with a discerning ear might hear a little something different about the way the door clicks shut behind them this time. There's a sort of finality to the sound.
Nothing special about this exit. Nothing particular to show that the door will only open once more for either of these two... and not for quite a long time.
In the real world, though, that's how it works sometimes.
