It's been said that when the Dark comes rising that six will turn it back. Notably, there aren't six around at the moment and so Mesaana is sitting at a table sipping a cup of very strong tea calmly. She does not look particularly like a Dark Lord since she's currently wearing a blue robe over her white nightdress. Her hair is a mess and she looks a touch grumpy.

Go on, tempt Fate. If you are really good at tempting, Fate just might screw you.

"I...suppose to never have told her what I did. But I also told Dad. To never have had those conversations happen."

Angela frowns. "Or convince them that it wasn't so bad after all. So they wouldn't change anything."

It's all much too big a problem for Angela to handle on her own.

"No. No, that wouldn't be good. At all," she agrees.

Angela thinks as much as she can, even though she's overwhelmed with it all and her mind is foggy with a sudden depression.

"Maybe there is something I could do," she murmurred. "Not to hurt Mom or Dad..."

She chews on her lip nervously.

"What did you have to do?"

Angela adores her parents. She feels that losing them--even a version of them--would be pain beyond what she could stand.

"It must have been a really bad conflict to give it up after so long."

Angela nods. "You helped me with Algebra once. I can understand it now," she says softly.

"I shall do what I need to do," she continues, as if talking to herself.

She might not be aware that she said that aloud.

Angela nodded. She would be.

If she could be the perfect daughter, she would be.

She would be.

She had to be.

Angela recognizes the tea by the smell, and she closes her eyes and takes the fragrance in.

Mom.

She picks up the cup and sips quietly.

"Thank you," she murmurs faintly.
