There is a former Admiral in the bar, but that is a temporary thing.
It means people need not get up to come tell him how much a horrible person he is.
But it does mean that Jedi and Jedi sympathizers need to find someone else to sneer at.
Piett comes downstairs, and strides across the bar to the front door; he does not look back or around, since he already said his goodbyes to the only person who cares about what happens to him.
A pause with the hand on the handle, then he turns it, opens the door, and steps out. For good or for worse, there is a whole multiverse outside, and any place will be at least a change from Milliways.
The door closes, and gone he is. Feel free to sigh with relief, Firmus Piett has left the building.
