Somewhere there is an Archie, and he is blissfully unaware that his fiancee is currently helping to diffuse a rather large bomb. So, if anyone would care to inform him, or just keep him company, that is, of course, more than welcome.

"To stay there, for as long as you wish, really. It is a rather large island, and I am sure we can find you a hotel, or, if you want something more off the path, a cabin, to stay in, near the water."

He grins.

"And if you really miss the water that much, there are boats there..."

Archie is the brother of his sister.

Archie smiles dreamily.

"A boat would be nice..."

To have the sea rocking him to sleep once again, and her in his arms. It is his idea of heaven.

"Though we can't stay terribly long. A few days away is my limit, I think. I've never really tested the theory."

"Whatever works for you. Consider the invitation extended. You have been a brother to my sister when there was no blood family for her to find. I am in your debt, Archie Kennedy. You are my brother as well, from this day, by bonds of hearts forged. Whenever shelter or a strong back you need, you will find it at my door."

Grand words perhaps, but heartfelt.

Archie simply gapes at him for a moment, stunned to say the least.

"I... I could have done no less. I only wished that there was more I could have done. I am.. honored, Nathan, but do not speak of debt for actions taken out of love. You have my word, and my sword as well, gladly, if ever you need it."

Now if only there was some mead or somesuch to seal things properly.

"Few would have done such, or said such. My sister chose wisely in you as a brother."

He grins.

"Will you join me in a toast?"

He waves at a wait rat.

He blusters a bit at the compliment, but he is pleased really, and glad for the small distraction the wait-rat brings.

"It would be my pleasure, sir."

"My name is Nathan, or Cable if you must, or Dayspring or Askanison if you really have to, but I am not Sir."

He grins lightheartedly.

"Two ales, Proumuran Design, 3021."

He nods to Archie as the wait rat rushes off and back with the alkes. He hands one over and raises his glass.

"To family, and to the future."

"It is merely a form of respect. And rather a habit, I fear."

A small smile as he accepts his glass.

"I will certainly drink to that, my friend. To the futures and well-being of our families."

He clinks his mug with Archie's and drinks. Then he grins.

"Tell me more about your time here?"
