He had spent most of the night and the morning in the infirmary. Just watching.
But Puck seems unlikely to wake anytime soon, and he had the impression that the healers found his silence a little intimidating. Far be it that he make anyone uncomfortable.
But he is not really looking for company, so sits up in the shadowy rafters, alone and thoughtful. Although there is no conclusive evidence, there seems little doubt as to who is responsible. Well, then.
He turns a small knife over and over in his hands as he thinks, or maybe doesn't. He's certainly looking at nothing in particular.
