Bruce sits in a booth, working on calculations on papers. On the table is a mass of papers, scribbled with neat handwritten equations. A small device, looking like a borg cube in miniature, sits, pulsing with green light, in the middle of the table.

"Close friends are special... they are like blood relatives you choose to have."

he nods then.

"I understand. Billy, Hank, Magius, and Elrond are that to me. I have a few other friends, but those four are as close to family as I have ever had."

He smiles.

"It helps, having someomne who cares."

Serena just nods, smiling.

He smiles back.

"You are an intriguing woman."

"Intriguing, how come?" She tilts head, curious, eyes sparkling with mischief....

"Beautiful, smart, kind, caring, sexy as hell, and quiet."

She laughs softly, and nods... "Well, I learned the merits of silent observation..." No, she does not contest the other claims

He grins.

"Silence is often very nice, very welcome, when it is the right kind."

"Not cold and not ankward?"

He nods.

"Exactly."

He smiles.

"Silence can be warm and friendly, and comforting."

"I am glad to be helpful..." She moves closer to him.

He smiles and shifts slightly, making space beside himself, if she wants to sit.

he watches her. She is beyind his experience and interesting.

Serena does sit close, smiling up to him.

He smiles at her, his mouth suddenly dry.

"Ah..."

Then he just leans in and presses a soft kiss to her lips. He is hesitant and nervous. These situations always make him nervous.

Serena is tender, gentle and comforting. The spontaneous kiss was a surprise, but a welcome one, and the kiss is accepted, returned, and improved upon.

He shivers. Her kiss is... warm, and strong, and...

he stops trying to think and just continues to kiss her, finally havin to break for breath, breathing heavy, eyes a little wide as he stares at her.

"wow."

Serena smiles, taking one deep breath... "Hmm, spontaneous... I like it..."

He blushes.

"I, ah... "

Yep, blushing.

"Um. I usually dont do that, but... you look amazing, and I... like kissing you."

"I like it." Serena kisses his neck.

He shivers.

"That is nice..."

He smiles.

"I am still not used to being around someone as sensual as you, and... I am nervous."

"Just relax, Bruce... I will not bite you..." She winks, and settles close, leaning to him.

He blushes again and puts his arms around her, hugging her almost tentatively, kissing her again.

"Sorry. I have just goten used to bad surprises these last few years. Dont mind my brain."

"I am full of surprises, dear. Some might consider them bad, but I do not intend you no harm."

He cants his head.

"If you dont intend me harm, then I dont think your surpises would be bad ones. How much worse can it get than I turn into a huge green monster or a smaller grey monster who are both somewhat psychotic?"

"I am a vampire." Better tell it now.
