Sure, she defeated the evil Prince Gloom, restored sparkle to Ponyland, won the love and gratitude of many colorfully-assed ponies and if she stayed longer, they'd probably make her their chief.

But even if Lilly weren't missing her friends at the bar, there's a limited amount of time she can stay in a place where the hardest drink is apple juice and none of the men are anatomically correct. That time is up.

The front door opens and Lilly enters, grinning cheerfully and swinging a basket in each hand as she heads for the bar. Her hair is suspiciously sparkly and she's gotten tanner, but other than that, nothing's changed.

Well. Don't ask about her flanks.

"Meg!"

Lilly drops her baskets on the floor and happily lets herself be tackled.

*Treacherous, and also painful on the ears, as they tend to involve a fair amount of squeaking. Also, beaming.*

"Ponies," Lilly confirms, laughing.

"Really truly ponies, and I really truly saved their civilization. I'm kinda a hero, Meg. A hero of glitter."

Well, I knew the ponies existed. It's the part where you received a mystic message from them and disappeared without saying goodbye that, tu sais, raised eyebrows, *Meg points out, and hits Lilly lightly on the shoulder.*

Which is for that. Weren't you already a hero of glitter? Not that the extra laurels are anything bad.

She is quickly and mysteriously swept up and swung around by a redheaded dervish with a death grip.

It's only momentarily mysterious, as Lilly doesn't really know that many redheaded dervishes with death grips and Alanna's stomach sticks out a lot more than Bernard's.

"Hey, Ber'd! Miss me bad, huh?"

"It was so boring with you gone!" Bernard complains. "But don't tell my wife I said so." He sets her down and kisses her cheek firmly.

Lilly grins conspiratorially up at him.

"Our secret, then. I'm sorry it was so boring, though. I figured I'd miss out on at least a couple crisises and maybe a party or two. Nothing like that happen?"

There is a rather loud thump to her left.

"You, I think, have been busy."

He blinks.

"Also there is new shampoo?"

The sparkly is suspicious, really.

Lilly grins at him.

"New shampoo, no. New hairbrush, yes."

The grin widens.

"How's it going, Raven?"

"Mostly well, perhaps."

He makes a face, reaching out to tug at her hair.

Carefully.

"It is a fine hairbrush, that."

Or so it seems.

Lilly smiles sweetly up at him.

"I'm glad you think so, Raven. Because I got you one."

She digs around in one of the baskets before producing a brush.

"Just brush your hair with it, and it'll make wherever you brush all sparkly!"

There is a suspicious, rather girly squeal from across the bar, and a frantically waving Auror. "OI! YOU'RE BACK!"

"Tonks!"

Lilly waves back wildly before joining the other girl.

"Hi! I'm back!"

"You're back with... glitter," she laughs, hugging Lilly tightly. "How were the, uh, ponies?"

Lilly hugs back before doing a little twirl to show off the sparkly strands in her long blonde hair.

"Oddly colorful. Also? Musical."

She shakes her head. Pony song-and-dance numbers are just weird.

"But I totally saved them from the glitter theft, so that was cool."

But Puck is always very concerned with Lilly's flanks! He feels it a matter of public duty!

"Be still my beating heart."

Lilly smirks as she turns to face him.

"Aw, Puck. If I didn't know better, I'd say you missed me."

He laughs.

"In which case, 'tis quite the pity for me that you do; I shall have to work all the harder to convince you of it."

"Well," Lilly says solemnly, "I do appreciate hard work."

When other people do it.

"How're tricks, Puck? Get into lots of trouble while I was gone?"

"LILLY, LILLY, LILLY!!!!!!!!"

A blur of blue flies through the bar and attaches herself to Lilly.

Lilly beams and reaches down to pat her new third leg.

"How's it going?"

"It's great! I haven't seen you in a long long time!"

She keeps hugging her.

"This is true," Lilly replies, sighing a little.

"But I was off on a very important glitter-related mission, or I wouldn't have let it be nearly so long. Did I miss anything really exciting? Are you 16 and learning how to drive yet? Will we be going on double dates any time soon?"
