Val holds the bag, eyes sparkling. "I'll make sure that I'm around, then." She turns and points out the lake door, to where her tent stands. "Out there is a tent. I know you can't go out when it's sunny, but feel free to come find me any night. If you want to get away, too, there's a bunch of books in there you could take if you wanted." She smiles gently and hugs him tight.
