[OOM: She only wanted to get them something special]
The door opens, and Nancy stumbles through blindly.
It's barely closed behind her when she trips over a chair leg and slides to the ground, sobbing her heart out. Her still-nameless puppy trots after her worriedly and curls up in her lap as soon as she's close enough to the floor.
