When Chase signed up for garden work, he expected it to be sort of tiring, but pretty routine.
After a few days of chasing blobs and then finding the ones he's captured seem to have just disappeared, he came downstairs yesterday to find a giant... jungle plant thing.
He tried to uproot some of the ones blocking the light out over the garden plants. After all, they probably belong to someone, he figured he shouldn't kill them without asking.
This didn't work. And the plant seemed to be getting bigger. So he tried plant clippers to just trim it back a bit.
After breaking the plant clippers he went to find some bigger plant-cutting things. But he doesn't seem to be able to get anything to cut with them.
He's just coming back with an axe when he is smacked in the head by a large bough, which he would swear moved on its own. He mutters a word he wouldn't say in front of Molly and moves in with the axe again.
The plant punches him in the face, taking him totally by surprise and knocking him back.
