It's not that unusual a sight: Meg Ford, table piled with books and notbooks and pens and highlighters, glass of lemonade.
The books, however, are nothing a professor has told her to read this time. Official Baseball Rules. Instructions to Umpires. And the one she is currently reading and highlighting her way through, Baseball by the Rules: An Anecdotal Guide to America's Oldest and Most Complex Sport.
Did you know it originally took nine balls to get a walk? Because it's definitely news to Meg.
[OOC: Work-related slowness is a given.]
