[[OOM:
A New York party, and a passing disagreement -- millitimed to a few days ago]]
There are an infinite number of worlds; and each world holds an infinite number of new things that Teja has not heard of before, as he is an Ostrogoth who died in 552 AD. So now and then, one world or another throws him a curve ball: - and by now,
Teja knows what a curve ball is, and that is one of the new things he lately learned about.
Others are more bewildering, like the customs of Charlie's world; Teja feels that he has done something wrong there, or does not fully understand what had happened, but he knows not who he might ask, without talking about Charlie in ways he might not like.
So he can just as well learn about base-ball.
He has a news-paper, the same news-paper
he struck Ramon Salazar with a few days ago (and the same that
Donovan and Demeter hid behind, even earlier, if truth were known), and while he had been looking for things about base-ball, he
found something else to rather shock him. Oh, he can see that arming women may be a good thing, but these people are apparently taking it a bit far.
Especially in the last paragraph...
