Jim is seated near the fireplace, mug in hand, reading. The annual overview of the Klingon Empire has been released, and while very few would say that the crop output of colony worlds is exciting reading, Jim has a tendency to read the report from start to finish.

Which isn't to say that he minds company. Even if he looks engaged. And a little grumpy. Klingons do that to him, even from afar.

He wanders over to the bar, hoping for supper and instead getting a napkin.

"Seriously? Right now? Can't it like... wait or something?"

He gets another napkin. Not one to argue with a magic, enchanted Bar, Gus makes his way back and finds the stick of chalk.

Specials Board:

Harp
Bass
Guinness

Half off anything on tap

Armed with his own bottle of Sam Adams, he's ready for Happy Hour.

[OOC: Open until I say otherwise, but probably well through the wee hours of the morning. Threadhopping much encouraged.

Also, LJ is still being a dick with email notifications, so don't forget about CrackChat - WelcomeinCrack on AIM if you've never been (AIM Express will NOT let you do chat, FYI).

The time has come for Cata to actually focus on this lesson plan nonsense. There's only a few weeks before the Guild starts taking students, and she'd prefer to be prepared than be stuck making it all up as she goes along.
(Yes, some things are going to change on the fly, but not all of it.)
She still wouldn't say no to a distraction, though.

Well, my goodness gracious let me tell you the news
My head's been wet with the midnight dew
I've been down on bended knee
Talkin' to the man from Galilee

He spoke to me in the voice so sweet
I thought I heard the shuffle of the angel's feet
He called my name and my heart stood still
When he said, "John, go do my will!"

To be continued. Handwavily millitimed to before the wake threads. Mild warnings for brief language, and the possible incurrence of God's indignation against our main players. They say lying is a sin...]
