[oom: For once, the injury is completely normal.]
Petra knocks open the sheet to her bed room to find not her small space, but a bar. "Oh Milliways, you're right, I need a drink." It takes some careful manuvering to get the crutches through the doorway. Once there however, she straightens herself, making sure the broken leg is not in danger of hitting anything, and begins to make her way to a small table near the bar.

Travis doesn't know why, but he's been on edge the last few days. And he's been downright pissed off at Nicholas, which he has to admit is also a little baffling. As it is, he's finding himself annoyed at things that really shouldn't be annoying him.
Okay, and that sign just posted in the bar is both weird and terrifying, and probably isn't helping.
He's over by the fire, very much not having a total strop* right now. He's just a regular bloke, having a regular pint.
*Anyone looking at him right now can plainly see that this is not true.
Fake Tag: Alba DeTamble, Travis Martin

The door opens, and no one comes in. On the other side is a somewhat normal, if more upscale than average, hotel lobby.
And then the door closes.
For a lot of people, this slightly bizarre event is over.
For the demon bunnies out back, it's not a good night. Because Tiger Cub, fully enraged and spoiling for a fight, any fight, has come into the bar. And since she knows the humans are off-limits and the watch here (even without a treaty) won't let her hunt the vampires and werewolves and such, she goes for the bunnies.
If someone is observant, they may see the bunnies in panicked defense tonight, odd ones out of the pack disappearing at random moments and reappearing later, messily dead.
If someone is very observant, they may see the flash of a striped hide and golden eyes.
If someone is an Other... this is what a shape-shifting battle mage looks like when she's pissed.

Carlotta comes into the bar, having finished her evening show. The circus moves on tomorrow, so now is a good chance to rest.
Her hoopy earrings jingle slightly as she sits down at a booth to write to her father and grandmother, as promised, with her next location. It's not too difficult to get mail - a great big top tent is fairly easy for the postman to spot and the post office collects things up that arrive before they get there. But it relies on telling people which way they're going.
Botherable.

- Sirona is sitting at a table, drinking Red Bull and writing code in ~ATH. While it is the most fiendishly baroque language she's ever wrangled (positively byzantine!), she does find it easier in here. However, a program able to communicate between different realities will be so worth it when it's finished. And be incredibly useful for her own project with the voting computers.
- Donovan is swan-shaped and swimming on the lake, which is bearable in the midday sun. He is slightly worried at the thought of a giant squid suddenly touching his feet. But to be honest, that adds spice and excitement to what he is doing. Which is drifting around on the lake, white and shiny and elegant, looking completely unconcerned.
- Bridgette has climbed onto a bar stool and is having a milk shake while constructing a house-of-cards from beer mats. It's quite impressive at this point.
- Teja is by the lake shore, practising baseball. His sparring droid, Valentinian, is pitching, and Teja is batting. Valentinian throws a very mean curve ball.
- Margolotta is sitting by the fireplace, knitting something pink and sipping cocoa from a black mug which a silver spiderweb design. On that cocoa, tiny pink marshmallow bats are swimming.
- Tower is watching a movie from 2010 on an iPad that he's brought in from somewhere. He quite likes the movie, especially as he's in it. Sort of.
- Urquhart is leaning by the back door, smoking a cigarette and wondering whether it might be fun to draw his crossbow and shoot one of the Ostrogoth's baseballs in mid-flight. On the other hand, he could try and be friendly to the man and talk him into helping with the education of that boy the other day. One medieval Scotsman can't do that on his own.
[[OOC: Say in your tag who you want! Bonus points if you know which movie Tower is watching and show it in a way that involves no puncturing of the canon in question!]]

It's been a long time -- but doors don't disappear just because you don't use them for a while. (Though some of Charles' professors, both physics and philosophy, would be happy to argue that an unobserved and unused door is no door at all.)
When the door to the bar opens, it brings with it a gust of wind, some swirling snowflakes, and one fair-haired young man who's bundled up against the November weather. His head is lowered against the wind. When he lifts it, he stops stock still for a moment--
Then breaks into a huge, sunny grin of recognition.
