Who knew that there'd be so much planning going into figuring out how much it'd cost to throw someone a birthday party? Really, it was just going to be a small party with a campfire and ice cream cake, but now that Tyler's thought about it...well.

He's seeing how much money he's got saved up, and what it'd cost to hire someone to play 'babysitter' or 'elder sibling' for this little event.

Which means notebooks, no textbooks and a menu from the local grocery, spread out in front of the little tow-headed normal-looking boy.

Yes. We said normal looking. So he stands out like a white dog in a room of black cats.

[Out of Milliways: Strictly speaking, the trouble is right *outside* of Rivet City.... Contains dialog from Fallout 3: Broken Steel.]

Ellen slips into Milliways with Dogmeat at her heels. "I need to get somewhere fast when I go home," she says, approaching the Bar. "Can I get some meat and water for Dogmeat, and... I don't know, can I buy a proper saddle for Shiphrah and Puah with this?"

She slides a faintly jingling bag onto the bartop. It disappears, and a saddle appears, but Ellen's tab goes up anyway.

"Oh dear... well, I'll pay the rest of it off later," Ellen says. "This will do nicely, I think. Thank you."

She'll take it outside to saddle up her cow once Dogmeat's done eating. She needs the extra time to get her combat armor on anyway; Officer Lepelletier said the bandits were pretty aggressive, and she's not about to head into that unprotected. Catch her wherever you like if you want an explanation, or even just to say hi.
