[OOM: Reunions are supposed to be happy occasions, right? It probably helps if you're not on the run from both angels and demons, though. Go figure.]

It was a perfectly good plan, really. You know, if Lorenzo hadn't shown up and completely blown their cover by being so darned recognizable. Mac tried to bluff their way out of it - and he would have managed, really, if the others had played along better, but they didn't have the sense they were born with, and then they had no excuse but to run.

And they were running so fast, focused so much on the from, that no one really paid much attention to the to.

So it is that the door to Milliways slams open, and a young black man of about 15 years old barrels through, shortly followed by a blonde man of the same age, laughing with the flushed success of a plan gone nearly entirely right. They are dressed puffy sleeves and the earthy colors that place them sometime in the pre-industrial Europe, and the blonde one is slowed down by the sack of powder slung over his shoulder.

Mac - the leading boy - is the first person to notice where they are, and he stops dead, his friend behind him. It would be a decent halt to the proceedings, except for the appearance that second of a third running boy, in fabrics and colors that leave his companions in the dust. He's also running, also laughing, and doesn't quite stop o time to prevent himself from barreling hard into the first two.

The results are, predictably, hilarious.

It's cold in Gotham today. This is demonstrated by Knox wearing his heavy leather coat and hat 30 minutes after coming it. He's not ready to take off a single layer till he has feeling in his limbs back.

Aren't Gotham winters lovely?

He hopes the big bowl of soup helps.
