Alyx woke up this morning feeling scared and hurt and overwhelmingly angry without knowing why. She knows it had something to do with her dream last night, but she has no clear memory of it. Just that it involved Gordon being in terrible trouble.

She knows this kind of anger isn't healthy, so she left the twins in the care of Dr. Mossman and retreated to Milliways to do her morning yoga and meditation exercises in the hopes of getting her head clear.

It's working, but it's taking a lot longer than it should.

Interrupting her would probably be unwise. But don't let that stop you.

Trapped. That's what Harry's been these many weeks past, and of his own doing too -- that's not to be denied. The more he must smile and bow and expend his manners, the more he wishes for a horse and a sword and a Scottish border raid. When a door in Philippa de Coucy's house opens into Milliways instead of yet another solar full of nursemaids and noble daughters, to say his relief is palpable is only to concede to the limits of language.

So, though his hair is combed and he's trussed up in his finest visiting suit, it's a pretty good time to meet young Harry Percy. He's making a beeline for the Bar, intent on trying some new food or drink that's beyond the scope of his era. Go on. Ask him how his quest for a wife is going.

11 PM CST Oh no, guys! You're wonderful; I have to go to sleep. Will tag up tomorrow!

The RobCo project is burbling along nicely and very, very soon now, they're going to activate everything along the production line just to make sure it all works before putting anything into it. It's all terribly important and fantastic and exactly the kind of thing that causes sleepless nights and twitches under the eye, which is why Ellen is taking one day off back on her side of the door.

On the Milliways side of the door she can probably take as much time as she wants, so right now she's out back with her saddled-and-bridled two headed cow, taking a nice leisurely ride around the lake. She'll be in later, for lunch; she's available in either place.

Assuming you don't mind the enormous two-headed cow part, anyway.

Well, you can't hide forever.

That appears to be the logic behind Ava's appearance tonight at the Bar. She's in jacket and jeans and her pretty pretty magical necklace and her hair's brushed and everything, but beyond that she looks a little stressed out.

This is because she is a lot stressed out, but is trying to hide it. Semi-successfully.

At least the hot chocolate's delicious.
