Guppy is sitting in a booth, with his middle daughter.

Coral is today wearing a shirt with a sparkly green waistcoat, a pair of dark green trousers, and a pair of pink Peppa Pig wellies.

"I don't mind you wearing Fry's old smart suit rather than a dress to the twins' birthday party." Guppy is saying. "But I think we need to draw the line at the wellies."

"Why?" the nearly-three-year-old asks.

"Because they're outdoor shoes." Guppy says, after a moment, realising that the concept of clothes 'going' together probably won't make sense to her. "Why don't you wear your pink sparkly shoes? They'd look lovely."

"Okay." Coral hands him a pink scrunchie, with which he attempts to get her hair into a respectable looking ponytail.

There's a Watcher in the bar.

Specifically, there's an Andrew Wells in the bar, seated in a booth not far from the fireplace. He's ostensibly making a list in his notepad, but right now he's staring into the fire without really seeing the flames or the serenely circling fish, pen resting forgotten on the page.

He's got stuff on his mind.

Any moment now he's going to notice that the tip of the pen's making a large blot and the list will have to be redone.

It's smooth. It's pale. It's yellow-green and vaguely comet-shaped, and it's about the size of Ellen's fist and a few inches of forearm. It goes squish when she pokes it.

Dogmeat does not understand his human's fascination with the thing. It's only fruit. If it were meat, maybe it'd make sense, but it came from a plant.

Squish squish squish. That poor fruit.

... look, sometimes Ellen is easily fascinated by the new and unusual.

[OOC: Post is open until it scrolls off the page! Also, Ellen is in her Brotherhood fatigues at the moment, rather than the Vault suit implied in her icon.]
