Javert is wearing an expression of pure relief when he re-enters Milliways this evening. He is somewhat sweaty and dishevelled, and his suit jacket is bunched up in his hands - a shocking way to treat clothes. But he appears hale enough.

Until he sees the amount of children around the place. No. Definitely not. He may be hungry, but he will eat in his room tonight.

He heads straight for the stairs, with a whole new world of things to think about.

[OOC: Not for tagging, thanks. <3
ETA:
Now with minor edits in OOM, due to mun being an idiot, and not getting it signed off by Ganymede-mun. Entirely my bad. Possibly more to come!]

Several days ago, there was a terrifying BOOM of boomy proportions. Four ladies walked into a bar - and three teens and a little girl walked out

Clementine Johnson has been relaxing out back, enjoying the mild fall weather (which they never, ever get in Reno). Otherwise, she's been experimenting with sparkly nail polish and hot fudge sundaes - she has both lined up beside her on the bar. Anyone want a manicure? Or to steal that tempting sundae?

Pinkie Pie has, meanwhile, taken to the resurgance of her fillyhood the way she takes to every strange thing that happens to her or her family - in joy-filled stride. She's outside flying a kite, the string in her mouth, giggling at the way it bobs and blows about. The Running of the Leaves is way different here than it is back home!

Dixie Cousins Myra Symons, meanwhile, has found a comfortable corner booth and is having a very stern conversation with her rag doll about responsibilities. Apparently it's bad to steal the last piece of fudge. Agree or disagree?

And then there's Juliet O'Hara, who's completely mortified by the reappearance of her acne. Cue her slumping down in a seat and having a soda, pretending she's utterly invisible to the rest of the world. Prove her wrong?

Yes. Four ladies and four choices. Who do you dare to choos?

[OOC: Pinkie and Juliet retain their adult memories, but Dixie and Clem do not - though teenage Clem remembers everything she did during her previous stop in-bar. Slows are always love!! Around for the next hour or so.]

So, it has been something of a wretched few days for the seventeen-year-old Rae Seddon. Thankfully, Sunshine discovered she could get a room - paid for by some sort of fund set up for the purpose, thank all the listening gods - so she wouldn't have to spend the whole time miserable, hurting, and feeling wretched in public. At least the nausea and vomiting have tapered off by now.

Restlessness has driven her outside, this afternoon. Though her very skin aches from every movement, it seems to do so less when she's out in the clear daylight, and the anxiety twisting tight in her chest seems to relax some.

One can find her sitting wrapped up in a blanket down by the lake shore, her face turned upwards towards the light, trying to keep still, trying to focus on not giving in to the overwhelming urge to fidget and move.

There's a note left for Javert at the bar, since Ganymede got the scribbled note the man left last night; he's at least glad the Frenchman found a door and wasn't too shaken by the experience of a modern metropolitan city. He writes in French, sitting down and taking his time with what turns into a letter, after he sets a box on the bartop where it disappears.

Anyone in the main barroom or out by the lake today will be treated to an odd sight. Dozens of girls, shouting, squealing, running through the backdoor and across the lawn, arms laden with all manner of treats — and one boy, tied up, pulled along with them.

The gang makes their way to the forest, where a tree fort rises above the ground. It's quite a fancy fort, equipped with slingshots, water balloon launchers, and other weaponry and defenses. The interior paneling has some Cybertronian script on it. There's a tire swing outside fashioned from a tractor tire, a crow's nest, and the entrance may be had by ladder, drawbridge, or manual elevator. Inside there are comics, pudding snacks, and the sort of things you'd expect to see in a tree house. It was clearly designed by somebody who really loved their gadgets, and knew what they were doing.

Kate and Natasha have seized the property. Being outlaws in need of a hideout, and all.

"This way!"

Natasha is already inside, leaving all entrances open to the returning posse and offering cover from anyone who might be following. Once the snacks are secured and the prisoner is dealt with, everyone can breathe a huge sigh of relief.

And enjoy the fruits of their labor.

[ooc: give us one minute to set up some thread headings before tagging We're open for business! This post is wide, wide open to everyone — boy, girl, adult, child, animal, mineral, etc. The girls will be inside the tree fort, but it's completely visible from the ground for any who want to stop by and see what's going on, or sneak their way in. ^__^

Sister Carlotta has been teaching Bean all sorts of interesting things recently. He's been very busy, learning, getting 'up to level', though he has no idea what level she's aiming for. Maybe just as high as he can. There have been regular tests. They've been getting harder. Some of them make absolutely no sense. Maybe he just hasn't lived long enough for them too.

In any case, Bean hasn't really missed that strange bar. He does, however, notice when he walks through the door. There's a lot more kids around today than he remembers from last time.
He doesn't hang around the door trying to work it out, though. Instead, he heads for the fireplace, and orders something to eat from a waitrat.
