While it is growing cold in most of Milliways' outside, it's always warm at the Caribbean inlet. Tonight, a low-hanging sliver of a newly waxing moon casts its rays over the beach, the palm trees, and the part of the lake that is, actually, the sea.

Not far away from the beach, there is a mermaid basking in the moonlight, pale hair floating on the soft waves, and a few half-grown squidlets playing around her.

While it is growing cold in most of Milliways' outside, it's always warm at the Caribbean inlet. Tonight, a low-hanging sliver of a newly waxing moon casts its rays over the beach, the palm trees, and the part of the lake that is, actually, the sea.

On the beach, perched on a leaning palm tree out over the surf, there is Dr. Hannibal Lecter, his suit jacket, shoes, socks and tie discarded and sleeves rolled up, with a bottle of highly artisanal beer dangling from his hand, looking out over the water and watching the mermaid who is drifting on the waves.

His tie, however, an elaborate pattern of red spiky flowers and paisleys on a pale background, is dangling from the branch over which Dr. Lecter has hung his discarded trappings of civilisation, and is currently being stalked by one of the forge cats who has wandered over to the beach.

It's not clear if he's aware of the danger.

Vyvyan has had a GREAT idea.

Since Nick has taught him that washing cars means money, the logical answer is to make the cars dirty and then people will pay him to clean them.

He's been concocting his best brand of fake bird poo all morning, perfecting it with an effort never reserved for studying. Currently, he's stirring the bucket of white gloop and looking for something suitable to test it on.

He goes out back and flicks a small glob at the window. Hm, not bad.

He then takes the bucket and wanders around to try and find the garage in this place. Maybe someone would like their car cleaned? If not, they will when he's finished with it.
