Eli decided that today was clingy day back at the Greenbrier. Gordon's been carrying a two-and-a-half-year-old child around for the past six or seven hours, which has made dealing with disputes over agricultural genetic material storage kind of interesting. Hopefully it was an educational experience for the boy.

As for Gordon himself, he's only just managed to convince Eli that it was okay to go and play with his sister for a while. At least for as long as it takes for Gordon to slip into Milliways and get a drink; he's going to need some fortification if Eli's still in that mode when he gets back.

So long as you're not trying to climb his leg or something, the one-eyed physicist with the crowbar through his belt is botherable.

Despite the relatively stagnant nature of this point in the plot, the seasons keep moving. The Knight keeps living. And now that autumn and winter are drawing closer, the time has come to prepare for the Raven's strongest time of the year.

Lohengrin drops into a chair, worn out from the new recruits testing their mettle against him. But if asked, he'll answer, "You should see the other guys."

He asks for a glass of water, a mug of coffee, and something, anything, to eat. Once they arrive, he's quite botherable.
