Noriko is working on a project today in the bar, taking up most of a table with a couple of pairs of goggles and a small roll of carefully packed film substance that looks like milky white photography film. The former she's taking apart carefully, and taking a small sander to the inside of one glass surface, the outside of the other. The aim is to thin them down enough to fit the film between them and stuff them back into the casing attached to the strap.
It's an unconventional way to go about solving the problem of both producing lightning and being susceptible to photokeratitis, but hey, Noriko's kind of unconventional herself. Feel free to bother her while she's trying to laminate the film between the glass curves, or trying to make the switch respond to her jolting it with current to make the film change to a dark tint.
