Decontamination is always an important step to any return to Sidonia, and Izana knew to expect such procedures. But when they removed their helmet and beheld a...well it was either a bar or a restaurant with very strange people, this was not as was expected. Were they hallucinating? Prolonged exposure to open space did have odd effects on the mind.
Just in case, they pinch themselves. Nope, felt that pain.
A little help might be appreciated by the person standing at the Front Door in the worn, though high tech looking spacesuit.

cassiefuckingcageCorporal Cage is having an awesome day. Well, maybe not awesome awesome. Cassie Fucking Cage has pretty high standards as far as awesome goes. Fetching an endangered Edenian talisman from an Ottoman tomb in the middle of a warzone? That's awesome. Shots with Jennifer Lawrence at the Golden Globes afterparty? That's awesome. Fuckin' crushing it in PT? That's just productive.
Her day's not over, either. She's now exchanged her workout gear for ACUs. She carries an olive-drab duffel bag at her side. Next: the firing range. It's been too long since she's worked with her sidearm, especially considering how disproportionately useful they are against Outworlders. Those chevrons on her shoulder won't be making any new friends if she doesn't keep her battle skills sharp during slow periods like this.
She opens the door. Surprise, surprise, no range. Instead there's this fucking place. Definitely not anywhere on-base - she's always wondered about the officer's lounge, but there's not a chance in hell it's this nice. The nonhumans lounging around the back make it a dead giveaway - yup, it's another realm. (She can't front, though - the fully-stocked bar's a welcome change from the last other realm she visited).
"Okay, which cosmic sphincter have I been sucked up this time?"

Gil, Guppy has discovered, is rather partial to 'Gardener's World'*, which seems to be settling him quite nicely as a distraction from teething this afternoon. Indeed the little person, who looks about six months old, is sitting on Guppy's knee patting at a tablet playing said television show.
Occasionally the tablet gets a little bit nommed and dribbly.
