Vanessa sits at a table with cards laid out in front of her. For a change, they are not her tarot cards, but rather ordinary playing cards. There is no mystic purpose to these cards. She is merely playing an intense game of solitaire. To the side of the display of cards is a glass that has nearly been emptied of brandy. Vanessa is simply enjoying the bar’s spirits while keeping the wheels of her mind working via the card game she has set out in front of her. While it might not seem that way to the casual observer, she is, as always, open to chatting with fellow bar-goers.

The last couple of weeks in Milliways have been odd and Quentin's trying to not think too hard about some of the weird.

Milliways isn't a smart place to have a crush so he's on the couch with some sweet potato fries and a book. He's also keeping an eye out for anyone he knows.

He's celebrating with alcohol, of course. Plenty of sack, a bowl of some sort of mysterious snack mix provided by Bar, and a set of dominoes that he's lining up on top of the bar in a meandering line to avoid various spills.
