Sonya's sitting at the bar proper,
dressed for a night out, though the black combat boots would seem out of place for any other woman. For once, her expression is almost happy, neither stressed or in a sort of daze.
She finally took Johnny up on his wanting to take her out on a date, of going to dinner and a movie. What he failed to mention was that the movie was actually a 'that the film was actually a 'portrayal' of the events of the Outworld tournament, something he'd been working on for awhile even before the invasion. Sonya could imagine why of course, even he wasn't so dense as to think it might open up old wounds for her, but the first portrayal was a success and he did think he'd be good for her to see it.
He was right in a sense. While there were parts of the movie that were hard to watch, even some that made her roll her eyes, the movie mostly focused on him, Liu and Jax, allowing her a sense of disconnect.
The dinner wasn't so bad either, but now she was in Milliways a moment to just recover from the movie itself.
Mostly, she was just wondering how something that so dangerous and risky, could be made into an almost enjoyable action movie. There was also the 'liberty' of Johnny's character taking out the main villain, while the 'hero' was suffering from a broken leg: Sonya definitely recalled it being the other way around.
She's only in milliways to collect herself, getting a cup of coffee and take a step back, before going back to her date.
