girlwithoutLet us say, for the sake of convenience, that the teenage girl in the Bar has been Around since her last recorded entrance. Holed up in her room, maybe, adjusting to her new reality - or gone on a heretofore-unnoted brief visit to a friend's world that caused her to lose several months relative to Milliways in return for a short escape from her final resting place of the Bar.
Regardless of what she's been doing, she's sitting at a booth now, drinking a chocolate milkshake through a sparkly straw that's currently doing nothing to ease the possibly permanent gloom that's settled over her. Luckily, though, she's about to get a very good surprise in three... two...
An unwitting patron opens the door to outside just long enough for a dog to enter through. After a moment, he goes pretty much nuts, barking and barreling through patrons and waitrats alike to reach Rikki in a display that would not be out of place one a 'dog welcomes soldier home' video. Rikki's head whips around at the sound of the dog, and frankly, her sudden cry of "Benji?!" as she fumbles her way out of the booth to drop to the floor with open arms to greet her dog with teary eyes isn't exactly discreet, either.
Our sincerest apologies to any patrons who become unwitting casualties of the dog's scramble or his dangerously fast-wagging tail.
