I wasn't even that mad about Milliways basically kidnapping me from the transport tube anymore. (Although I was still a little mad, on general principles.) I'd gotten to like the place, and not just because of all the interesting media. (Okay, at minimum 50% of the reason I had gotten to like Milliways was because of all the media.)

But I'd started to miss ART. And as interesting and full of media as Milliways was, I didn't feel like I could be me there. Really me. It was weird because I'd pretended to be an augmented human before, for longer than I'd spent here. Maybe not having cameras and drones to use just made it more stressful. Or maybe I'd gotten used to not having to hide, and it was hard to go back.

Anyway. I was at the Bar getting ready to go, settling my tab with one of my currency cards, thinking of how I'd explain all this to ART, and of course sorting through the new media I'd downloaded.

[OOC: Please read Murderbot's bio before responding to this post. Thank you! Also, consider this Millitimed in such a way that Murderbot would be leaving after only three or four days at Milliways.]

Zuko was going to go to the firing range. He really was. He was dressed in clothing that was loose and light, and the weather outside was pleasant 90% of the time. He had his hair tied back, he had his game face on and he was ready to go light some shit up.

Then he opened the door, and a chilly gust of wind hit him in the face. He gasped audibly, and then huffed out, fire coming out with his breath, smoke trailing past his lips. He went to the door expecting Ember Island, and he's staring out at a landscape that would be pretty fitting for the Northern Water Tribe lands.

"BAR!"

There's no use yelling at the Bar, though. Zuko knows better. Bar does what Bar wants. Bar, apparently, wants a break from the heat.

To the one side of the lake, it's on the more pleasant side of chill instead of Polar Vortex level cold. A good chunk of the lake has frozen over, thick and smooth, for good ice skating. It doesn't reach quite to the inlet where the sun remains shining where the fluffy, gray winter clouds are not. Between snow-packed hills and the lakeside ice rink, there are little booths filled with delicious, piping hot winter food and drink of all sorts, from cocoa to wassail. Mounds of snow are packed dense for sledding, and tables and benches are outside.

For the brave, however, the forest tells another story: things get downright forbidding at the aptly named forest, and there's things moving beyond the trees. It's extra dangerous tonight; the bay of winter wolves and the scream of a distant tauntaun speak of things that are hungry, with teeth like icicles. Trespass against the Kings of the Winter Wood at thine own risk, mortal.

Zuko? He's turning right around to go back inside and get changed, grumbling every step of the way.

[Welcome to another Milliways All-Skate!

All welcome - yes, that means all. Whether they're retired, deleted, AU, original or already being played by someone else, bring 'em along.

Usual all-skate rules apply:
1. Everyone's stressed out of their mind right now, so have fun!
2. Communication is key.
3. Gratuitous behaviour (either of a violent or sexual nature) will not be tolerated in the bar proper. Take that to an OOM, and then Content Warning the hell out of it before you link it.
4. Please don't be a dick.

There is also no requirement to stick to the setting of the party.]
