nerves_of_iceSharon had left for Monte Carlo that morning. Bucky doesn't like leaving everything in Fury's hands, but it's not like there's a lot he can do about it from Wakanda, and thanks to Zemo, he's all too likely to be recognized outside the borders, especially in a location like that.
Besides, she knows what she's doing. It's a low-risk mission. (Relatively.) She'll be fine. He has to trust that. He has to trust her.
That doesn't mean he's not spent the day doing everything he can to distract himself while he waits for news. The goats have never been so well tended, there's not a scrap of brush or wood that needs chopping, and the rest of the hay on the hillside's been cut and laid to dry. Once he runs out of things to do, he heads for the bar.
Maybe company'll help. He hopes. Or if nothing else, at least he can go for a run around the lake. A long one.
