At last, the garden at Milliways is simultaneously 1)not being actively rained on, and 2) not a treacherous quagmire of mud from which you will never escape. So there is a Sunshine in her hardest-wearing can't-even-get-away-with-wearing-in-her-bakery clothes, getting seedlings planted.
She will eventually escape once the peppers are all planted, and the eggplants and sunflowers maybe, and settle down at the nearby picnic table for a break and something cold to drink. It is finally a clear day, the sunlight warm on one's shoulders and back but the breeze still carrying refreshing coolness with it.
The planted seedlings are in their neat rows, soaking in the sun as much as Sunshine herself is. It's almost worth all the mud.
