Late Night Sunday Bartending

Something is strange. There's a walking, talking, mouse behind the bar. He's wearing a black cloak as well. He wipes off the bar top while standing on a few boxes.

The board behind him says:

Tonight's Specials

Mickey Mouse
Cherry Cheesecake
Cheesecake

There is something deeply wrong with Mickey Mouse serving alcohol.

Deeply, deeply wrong.

Mickey reaches back for a bottle of alcohol and flips it over his shoulder.

"Can I get you anything?"

"I'm not old enough to drink." Billy peers over the bar, curiously. "Actual cheesecake would be nice?"

"When I said anything it of course had that provision on it. Bar? Would you care to do the honors?"

A slice of nice cheesecake shows up right in front of Billy. Mickey motions towards it,

"All yours."

"..........Since when does Disney sponsor the tending?"


There was a very confused Kate staring at the sight. "And isn't that like against the rules for you to be serving alcohol?" Hell people can't even take their heads off of their costumes in public. Much less something like this.

"We don't. In fact no others at Disney Castle even know of this place yet. Mike needed someone to fill in, so here I am. I hardly ever get to use my bartending abilities."

He wipes the bar a little bit more and smiles.

"How can you have tending abilities. I mean, you are Mickey Mouse... right?"

"Thanks." Billy bites into the cheesecake happily. "And some milk?"

"This Mickey Mouse is badass," Billy mumbles out of the corner of his mouth.

This one, Mickey handles himself and pours a nice tall glass of milk for Billy and slides it over. He smiles warmly to Billy.

There's a mouse behind the bar.

Okay, not really shocking considering where they are, but it's still new on Mia.

She blinks briefly before smiling and asks, "Could I have the cherry cheesecake?"

"Mickey," Riku says with a grin, leaning against the bar. "Hi."

Guess who's missed his hero figure friend?

"From what little I understand of this place, it links many worlds together. The world where I am from, I live a day to day life. I started off as an assistant on a steamboat and became a king. However, things are not as bright as the people I've met from outside my world believe them to be."

Mickey nods. He's not as serious, just 'splainin.

She glanced over at him, and whispered back, "Billy, you have Mickey and badass in the same sentence. Can you hear the wrong here?"

"Riku! It's been a while."

Mickey leans over the bar to hug his friend.

"D'you remember Xaldin?" Of course she remembers Xaldin, their encounter isn't one likely to be forgotten soon. "Mickey almost killed him. But that was a long time ago," he adds quickly.

"Define not as bright because your PR's got it insanely sweet at times?"

This was still really, really weird.

"And you're a king? So are you medieval times Mickey?"

Mickey sizes Mia up a bit,

"Ah one thing. This Cherry Cheesecake on the specials isn't the cake itself. If that is what you'd like I can, however, have Bar provide a piece for you?"

"It really has," Riku says, and hugs him back. :D. "Which is a darn shame."

He can't swear for real around Mickey. Never could, never will.

Mickey explains,

"Not as bright as in, I've fought in a war. I've taken lives that I had wished I never even had to."

Mickey brightens up just a small bit and adds,

"That's an apt way to put it, but there are some slight differences."

He stops there to give the human some time to absorb the information.

Billy smiles back, though it's a bit strained. Treaty or no, he's still a little nervous. Especially after the events of the week.

Mickey tosses around an empty bottle. It flips in the air a couple of times before landing in his gloved hand.

"I've been helping with the rebuilding of Radiant Garden."

There's a cat watching the mouse from the rafters.

Looking conflicted.

It's a big mouse. Bigger meal, it'd save tab money.

Bigger than a demon-rabbit. Probably tastes better, too.

And bartending. ...that may put a kink in his plans.

Wait-rats are off-limits BUT THIS IS NOT A WAIT-RAT.

... Kyo's cousin is a rat and a patron and is off-limits, but he looks like a boy most of the time and this one actually LOOKS like a rodent.

If... a very odd rodent.

It warrents more investigation, he decides, slinking closer along the rafter.

"Are they calling it that now?"
