Agnes needs a drink.
Well, that's not entirely true. What she needs is her boyfriend to rub her neck and play with her hair. But she knows how hard it is for him to get away, so a drink will have to do. Preferably something with slightly less ability to strip paint than Nanny's scumble.
Which is why she's sitting at the bar nursing a pint of dark Morporkian ale. Milliways is a lot closer, by some frame of thinking, than Ankh-Morpork, after all.
