The door opened onto a strange pool of what looked like water and a young Daniel Jackson stepped into Milliways. He was wearing a bunch of brown cloth robes.
"What is this place?" he turned around to ask the other people who were to be with him, "Uh, Jack... Okay, this is strange."
He made his way to the bar and looked around for the tender.
