Moon has taken a central table as hers.
She shuffles her deck three times.
She cuts it three times.
And then she sets the deck to her left.
Slim fingers turn the first card.
Nine of Swords.
She sighs.
Another card is turned.
Nine of Rods, reversed.
A frown now.
Knight of Swords.
Was there ever a spread involving that lot that didn't make her want to hide under the covers and pretend the multiverse didn't exist?
