It is a small request, but it seems to satisfy Vexen's need to exchange favours. Certainly it's a peculiar one - though at least it's not like Kida back when they were kids, telling him to use her nickname in front of both their fathers - but one that is well within his abilities and willingness to grant. And once granted, the exchange is complete; neither party can demand more, or claim that it was uneven.

That's somehow even worse; Atlanteans aren't even part time insectivores, but Vexen has seen enough small antlions to know that he wouldn't even want to entertain the idea of eating one, especially not one that came up to his waist. Or anyone else's, for that matter.
