Parker hasn’t been to Milliways since she arrived back in Neptune, three days ago.
To be fair, Parker hasn’t been outside of Seth’s apartment since she arrived back in Neptune, three days ago. They had had some serious catching up to do.
Serious, enthusiastic, athletic catching up.
But they were down to a slice of cold pizza, some canned soup, and a batch of tuna salad for breakfast. So Parker had slipped on shorts and a tee-shirt, left a note by the bed for Seth (who was still sound asleep) and gone in search of food.
Milliways had kindly appeared right outside Seth’s front door.
Parker—who does look a little like the cat that ate the radioactive canary—is lingering over coffee and a waffle piled with whipped cream and strawberries. She also has a large take-out box full of food to take back to Seth.
But she’s not in any hurry. Botherable.
