Hm. Apparently the door back and forth between the Spark In Darkness and the Bar only works when there is no one else within line-of-sight on Vergil's side. It's tried several times now to demonstrate the phenomenon for the ONI human, and the door has refused to appear on cue. It wasn't until the Huragok thought to snatch up a bottle of some sort of green, fizzy, faintly opalescent beverage from the Bar and bring it back that the human was willing to believe some form of dimensional aberration might be going on. Vergil has been asked to gather as much information as it can and bring it back when possible.
In practical terms, that translates into 'Spend plenty of time there so that you don't get bored or lost or hurt on the ship', so there's a six-foot, faintly glowing purple-pinkish alien squid creature hovering over one of the tables, entertaining itself with the components of a very large stereo speaker. Apologies in advance if any of the parts roll away and get underfoot.
