Ah, the eating of the green. Believe it or not, they still make green beer and green corned beef hash in his era, in places that are not actually Ireland. Jim would rather have have Aldebaran whiskey, which is green without any help, but that would be far too strong for him to get back to duty today.
Still, Jim doesn't mind being served such delicacies, seeing as he might be of Irish and not Scottish stock. At least according to the inhabitants of one of his favorite getaway spots. And it's pretty good hash.
