Artie drags himself out of the hallway entrance and into the bar proper. He looks like he hasn't slept in a couple of days. That would be because he hasn't.
He stops off at the Bar just long enough to leave a short note for Security:
I've encountered our vampire. Contact me face-to-face for details. I'll be in the corner booth by the back door.

then plunks himself down in a corner booth with a plate of waffles and a mug of tea the size of his head.
