The Door opens on four sprites, one of them decidedly tiny and another canine in nature.

"Here you are, Ana," the green one tells the tiny one. "Welcome to... Cubefall! Oh, man! Alphanumeric!"

The befinned one looks around the bar with a smile, adjusting her hold on her daughter as the group make their way inside. "Talk about first impressions, eh, Sprout?"

The canine one makes a snorting noise and paces a vigilant perimeter around woman and child. (He may also have an eye out for construction toys operable by jaw.)

[Two muns, two pups, two subpups! We're flexible!]

Following behind—but not intentionally—is a Matrix.

He says nothing; just works his jaw a little.

Yeah, he remembers last year very well.

"Hey Enzo!..Hi Frisket." Tyler calls from his seat at the bar.

"Hey, Tyler!"

"Whuff." The tail thumps twice.

"C'mere!"

?

Alright...what could be so important?

"What's up? Anything new in Mainframe?"

"Wurf!"

Enzo looks around. "Hey, Matrix!"

What's with him? Cubefall is awesome!

"Yeah," he replies with just a hint of 'duh'. "That!"

He points at where AndrAIa is sitting with her daughter.

Easy for you to say that; you enjoyed your configuration choice last year.

"Hello."

He's waiting for the vidwindow asking him what he wants to be even though he's all grown up to appear.

Not 'til he reaches the Bar, as a rule. If he really wants to avoid it, he's safe there.

"Talk about timing, huh? Ana's first time here and it's all toys!"

Many of them choking hazards, but she has a vigilant family.

"Oooh....you've got another niece!"

"Uh-huh! Her name's Analog."

Shifting Ana to one arm, the Game sprite reaches to pat her husband's arm gently.

"He's just grumpy because last Cubefall I made him choose a human format."

Enzo looks at Matrix with a great show of lack-of-sympathy.

"Everyone has to learn sometime," he says loftily.

AndrAIa, for her part, realizes her daughter's being shown off, and shifts the alpha sprite so Tyler can get a better look at her.

Oh, the vidwindow can show up anywhere. The bar is not where it's confined to.

Just ask Rabastan about his vidwindow showing up next to where he was sleeping last year.

"Yes they do," Matrix not!agrees with a poke to Enzo's shoulder. "I would've preferred it to be some other time."

Then he could've gotten something wicked cool. Like a robot that turns into his dream car for starters.

"Hi there, Analog.." Tyler smiles at the little baby, putting his fingers out towards her to see if she'd grab them like Mairi did.

"Don't worry, Sparky. No one's going to make you change into anything this year."

Ana, for her part, squeals happily as she finally notices her father after looking around herself, making grabby hands at him.

And grab them she does, latching on with gusto.

One thing's for certain, she has her father's grip.

"How old is she?"

"One, nearly two months," she responds, watching Ana carefully.

Those fingers in Ana's hands? Prepare to have them gummed, Tyler.

It's that squealing happy sound that helps lift Ana partway out of her mother's arms.

And daddy is happy to meet his little girl halfway.

Before he catches a glint of something shiny.

A familiar glint.

His frown goes from "grrrargh" to "ohnoez!" as he points one of his null-on-a-diet-sized fingers at the source of the glint.

"AndrAIa, is that...?"

AndrAIa smiles all too innocently.

"Your trophy?" she finishes. "Why yes, yes it is."

Ack! He's been covered in goo too much lately!

Look at him squirm and try to get those fingers out very gently!

Enzo grins innocently at Matrix.

"She likes it. It's shiny."

Enzo grins at Tyler. "That means she likes you."

Actually, it probably just means you have fingers.

AndrAIa strokes Ana's cheek softly, speaking to her daughter gently.

"Ana, sweetie, Tyler doesn't like that. Let him go, kiddo."

Miraculously, Ana does just that, releasing mouth, fingers and all.
