It had been a fairly quiet day at the clinic -- enough so that Kim still has rather a lot of energy at the end of it.
As a result, she breezes into Milliways, stops in the infirmary to pick up an on-call button, and then settles in a booth with a cup of coffee and copies of the latest medical journals.
It looks like it might be a good night to catch up on her reading, or to catch up with her friends at the end of the universe. Maybe both.
