Demeter notices the embarrassed young man and tries to not grin too much, her green dress is simply of shinier material,

"Are you cold, dear?"

"It'd be better if the shirt closed," grumps Ako.

"Does it even have buttons?"

He's a rather attractive young man though Demeter isn't quite sure if that's what he normally is.

"I think they ended up on someone else's costume," says Ako, "I'm, um, not sure if we've met. My name is Izumi Ako, but please call me Ako."

The bow at the end of the introduction flashes still blue hair. Continuity in smaller parts is important as the big things change.

"I'm Demeter. Perhaps we can get you something more, my dear. You don't seem terribly comfortable in that body though its quite handsome."

"It's my first time as a guy Demeter-san," admits Ako as she, as he spins the water glass in a fidget. "I've always been a girls when things changed before."

Well, give or take D0G, but D0G doesn't have a gender the same way that this does.

"That must be rather strange for you. Are you cold?"

"A little, but not as much as would have I expected," he says.

"Oh! Please, sit. It's not good to keep you standing like that."

"That's good. Thank you. Now what I can do to help you?"

She sits down and orders herself a wine.

"I really don't know," admits Ako, "I'm Bound at the moment and I'm not myself, really, right now. What sort of things do you do Demeter-san?"

"I help things grow and I'm sorry to hear that."

He shrugs. "It could be worse. I've been caught outside the bar before; this way I don't miss anything at least."

"No, you won't. Where are you from?"

"Mahora Academy in Japan. It's a boarding school that teaches from grade one to the university level."

"Are you a student there?"

She's not quite sure of Ako's ago, transformations make it harder to tell such things.

Demeter shouldn't feel bad. It's just hard to tell the ages of people from animes. Ako's universe just has people actually notice the fact that no one looks their age.

"I am. I am in my last year of junior high actually," says Ako nodding.

"I would have thought you were older but that's probably the danger of that body you're in."

"I think it's the muscles," says Ako, "Most boys don't work out like this body does I guess, and I know I'm not this tall when I'm normal."

"That makes sense. Transformations are always tricky things."

"Do things like this happen a lot at home for you Demeter-san?" asks Ako, "That would have to be confusing."

"My family has a tendency to cause them, it gets messy."

"Oh, um, I'm sorry to hear that," offers Ako, "Is a lot of it going between human and animal forms, or just between being different people?"

"It depends a lot on what's happened. Though thankfully it hasn't been happening a lot lately."

"All right?" That doesn't make a lot of sense to Ako, but no one said reality was supposed to. "Just, I think it would be kind of cool to be able to shapeshift on purpose."

"I've found it can be useful, when its called for."

"That's kind of the impression I got," says Ako, "But birds and wolves came up a lot more than other people."

"Yes, those shapes seem to appear all over the world."

"I don't know how well it would work," admits Ako, "I really like being able to work things like door knobs."

Be a tribble for a weekend and see how awesome thumbs are.

"Talking is nice too. It's hard if there's no one to talk to."

"I agree. I prefer to remain this shape, but some of my brothers seem to spend a lot of their time in other forms."

"But how would anyone know who they were talking to if they kept switching things like that around?"

"We have ways of letting people know and some of my brothers like surprising people,"

Its caused far too much trouble in Demeter's opinion.

"Oh. Well, I guess that makes sense a little then."

"Most of it has to do with sex and then someone being angry about the sex."

Thanks to the shirt it's possible to see Ako blush from the top of his head down about halfway to his belly button.

"I, um, oh."

Yes that's probably what most people would end up doing with shapeshifting, but still.

"Yes, I'm all for more sex when everyone involved is having a good time. I just hate that my brothers never think things through."

Ako's blush doesn't really spread, but it does deepen.

"Er."

"Do you have a boyfriend when you're your normal shape, Ako?"

Eye contact isn't going to be happening soon either. Maybe a run would help - there has to be a way to get out through a window or something from upstairs.

"No!"

That almost sounded like Ako's normal voice, just squeakier.

Demeter smiles, young people are so charming when they're still flustered by sex,

"I hope you find a nice young man someday or woman."

"I, um, th-thank-you?"

Probably?

"You're welcome. My daughter says I'm nosy but I just want to make sure people are enjoying life properly."

Your daughter seems like a sensible woman.

"^Do. Do you every try a-anything else?"

Chocolates maybe?

"Oh yes, good fine and wine are wonderful too, but sex is just about celebrating life."

This is what Ako as a guy looks like trying to slouch in the chair until he end up under the table.

"Oh, um, I'm n-not old enough to drink."

Still blushing. Yes.

"I see, well maybe we should talk another time and I'll leave you to your drink,"

She didn't mean to make the poor dear feel so uncomfortable.

"T-thank-you! It was, um, interesting?"
