There's a Man in Black striding in through the Door. It's been quite a while, and he wasn't actually expecting to end up here tonight. As the Door quietly shuts behind him, he slips that shiny black phone of his back into an inner pocket of his Suit, and takes a seat at the Bar. As usual, he makes a point of ignoring that pain-in-the-ass shrink a few seats down.

There's a napkin waiting for him as he settles in. He eyes the writing on it and nods. "Too right, Darlin', been much too long. I'll have the usual, if you please."

A double of Eli Lockhart's finest bourbon appears with a *bamph*. K lifts it up, admiring the look of that wonderful stuff under the lights of Milliways and offers what looks suspiciously like a smile.

"Back in the saddle. About time."

"Pretty worried as I know generally what has to be done but not the specifics or where or even how we're getting out of the Abhorsen's House. But I'm Bound again so I can only prepare as much as possible."

"Bound, huh? Well, not much you can do about that, I guess."

"You try checking the library upstairs? I hear tell they have books about damn near anything under whatever sun you care to mention."

"I've found if I keep busy then it's not too hard. Not yet as I'm working on a project but I will."

"Oh, yeah? What sort of project?"

With this kid, it could be interesting.

"A knife for my girlfriend. It's based off of a design I made for Urquhart, a flip knife."

"That's right," K recalls. "Your world has a serious thing for craftsmanship, doesn't it."

"I guess. I'm good at making things,"

So he's not the best for giving an unbiased view of the Old Kingdom.

"There anything you'd refuse to make? Some line you'd never cross?"

It's good to know. Because if Zed were to ask for something, it'd probably be way the hell over said line.

"Nothing that would raise or control the Dead or make people do things they don't want,"

He won't do anything that will create or help anyone who even seems to resemble a necromancer.

"Yeah, ok. I don't think you'll need to worry about that from us."

Not unless Zed changes his mind about that proposal for a zombie MiB division, and K's pretty sure he won't.

"Do you have a commission?"

"Not at the moment."

"But you never know. If we ever need something requiring your particular skills, we might make an offer."

"Thank you. I'd appreciate that. I want to learn to make as many things as I can so I can be a proper Wallmaker."

K nods approvingly, throws back the rest of his drink, and sets the glass firmly down on Bar before turning and putting out a hand to shake.

"Sameth, we'll be in touch."

Sameth shakes his hand with a grin, "Good, I'll be here."
