Teja is sitting by the fireplace with his harp, playing a harsh old song about iron and smithcraft that he may have heard somewhere.
It's on the very edge of what one may do with a harp, but this is Teja playing and singing, so he manages to keep the grim spirit of the song, even though he may not cause that much noise all by himself.
The cats, though, have temporarily deserted him.
